"藝術家張騰遠擅長從日常生活中取材,以繪畫與動畫裝置的方式,呈現我們現代生活中的觀看經驗。作品〈地球抱枕〉,張騰遠將作品中的時間,設定在地球末日的數千年後。住在遙遠星球的鸚鵡人,依據著數千年前收到地球發出的訊息,來到地球進行考古研究。螢光綠為底色的畫面中,一位鸚鵡人正躺在不同花色與種類的狗群中,誤將小狗當作臥枕的抱枕,旁邊置放著一個毫無相干的檯燈,凸顯出一股介於現實與非現實之間的虛無感。對張騰遠來說,鸚鵡只會模仿,因此以模仿地球人的行為,做為研究地球文明的方法,也因而對無法理解的物件產生誤判。張騰遠藉由對末日的劇情想像,試圖開啟對所有符號系統,進行重新思考的可能性,期許我們重新認識早已麻痺無感的事物,標示出事物在當代曖昧不清的狀態。",
