"本照片是由八斗子協會理事長陳良輔所提供，拍攝時間在民國60年，描述基隆八斗子漁村漁船歲修的情況。基隆的漁家每年只有在農曆春節過年後這段期間，才有空把船拖上岸做大整修，這些船有些有號碼，有些沒有號碼，整理船時有時會重新上漆、木頭爛掉的要重新換掉，螺絲帽的地方也會用類似像固化膠（矽利康）填補材料等漆上去，一般木工小修理漁民會自己動手，大修理才會花錢找師傅來\n\n照片中穿著短褲站在舢舨船前拍照的大男孩是陳良輔本人，這艘舢舨漁船是陳良輔自家的漁，拍攝者已不可考。從陳良輔穿著的基隆高中制服和運動短褲，推估這張照片拍攝於59-61年陳良輔就讀高中期間。照片中這艘船是修好的船，修好、整理好的船會用木架立起來，待春天時放回海裡，迎接下一個漁季。舢舨船後方尚有幾艘有機器艙的動力船斜躺在沙灘上準備整修。\n\n拖船上來的時候都是集體將船用木板搭滾輪拉上岸。現在都是直接送造船廠上架修理。本相片攝於民國60年（1970）的八斗子，從陳良輔先生腳下可見當時八斗子海岸仍是沙灘。", "本照片是由八斗子協會理事長陳良輔所提供，拍攝時間在民國60年，描述基隆八斗子漁村漁船歲修的情況。基隆的漁家每年只有在農曆春節過年後這段期間，才有空把船拖上岸做大整修，這些船有些有號碼，有些沒有號碼，整理船時有時會重新上漆、木頭爛掉的要重新換掉，螺絲帽的地方也會用類似像固化膠（矽利康）填補材料等漆上去，一般木工小修理漁民會自己動手，大修理才會花錢找師傅來\n\n照片中穿著短褲站在舢舨船前拍照的大男孩是陳良輔本人，這艘舢舨漁船是陳良輔自家的漁，拍攝者已不可考。從陳良輔穿著的基隆高中制服和運動短褲，推估這張照片拍攝於59-61年陳良輔就讀高中期間。照片中這艘船是修好的船，修好、整理好的船會用木架立起來，待春天時放回海裡，迎接下一個漁季。舢舨船後方尚有幾艘有機器艙的動力船斜躺在沙灘上準備整修。\n\n拖船上來的時候都是集體將船用木板搭滾輪拉上岸。現在都是直接送造船廠上架修理。本相片攝於民國60年（1970）的八斗子，從陳良輔先生腳下可見當時八斗子海岸仍是沙灘。", "「八斗子垃圾場」，設置於1977年（民國66年），當時尚有設置水肥處理廠，設置地點在基隆長潭里的東北邊，由基隆市政府選址。\n\n此一舉措，使當地的咾咕蒼（珊瑚礁）、岩礁海岸消失，垃圾被捲入海中、或排放的污水流入海中，使這裡的魚類資源快速減少。\n\n以前，此處是八斗子沿岸漁產最豐富的地方，會有地曳網的活動、定置網的放置。然而，垃圾場汙染所造成的「環境荷爾蒙」，使得當地的海洋生態為之改觀。\n\n直到1992年（民國81年），「八斗子垃圾場」才關閉，然而，北邊的海堤卻被颱風引起強勁的海浪衝破2個大洞，垃圾也接著被大量捲入海中，造成另一次的污染。1997年（民國86年）10月，海堤斷裂，造成許多釣魚的人掉落水中，1人死亡。破洞再加大，1998年（民國87年）才陸續修補。\n\n據曾經在附近泅水過的老漁民說，當時海底的礁石全然被垃圾覆蓋住，魚都不見了。過去，他們常自豪，客人要是到訪，他們只要下海半小時、就會捕撈到很多魚、蝦、貝類，招待客人，此情景已不復可見。",
