基隆義重橋の昭忠祠
詳細資料
[日文]基隆義重橋の昭忠祠
[英文]The Scerine at the gijiu kiogai, keelung
[英文]The roman-lettered title should probably read @Shrine at Gijukbashi, Jilong.@ Later photographs show that Gijubashi became an urban street lined with modern, Japanese style buildings with Japanese residents. The phrase @昭忠祠@ refers to a memorial site for fallen soldiers or defenders in a war. The site here is probably a memorial to Jilong residents and/or Qing soldiers who fell in the 1884-85 War against the French. Jilong was one of the battle sites in this war. The banners suggest that this photo was taken before or during a procession. Gijubashi is today called 金鶏橋.
